Passion on wind chimes and golden showers...

Last birthday on a retreat I was looking for a golden shower tree but found nothing in Ma. Aurora and Baler. It's just my wish to have a  birthday picture with a golden shower tree on its blooming season. When I arrived home I found my chime tree blooming with flowers like golden showers. It's actually a narra tree which I called my chime tree.

Before my 50th birthday I told my loved ones and friends that I would like to collect 50 wind chimes to hang on my narra tree. It's my way of making my 50th birthday different from my other birthdays. I thank the people who answered to my request... For 3 years now some of the chimes were thrown away by typhoons, but most of them survived till now. At bedtime I would hear the music of the chimes, as if singing voices of the people who gave me those chimes.

A friend asked me on my previous birthday...do you still like a chime for a gift? My answer... oh yes, I love to..will always ! Why so much passion on chimes? Because with chimes I feel the the company of its giver... singing to me when the wind blows...

Music and flowers like golden showers...from my chime tree...
Well?...Still collecting wind chimes... :-)

And hopefully this rainy season we would be able to plant Golden Showers too...in the years to come I would like to have photos like these from my own yard... it's a passion

Awesome wonder...from nature...

Was really surprised to find this tree full of fruits (whaaaat is this??!!) at the backyard. It's been there years back...taken for granted, all of a sudden here it is...! Made me really laughed and giggled, and felt blessed, sort of feeling that nature gave me something rare. And what is this tree for? Surely if it is not edible then this would be medicinal. Surely, God made all things on earth on purpose...

The bigger picture of Political Suffrage

Pussycat pussycat where have you been?
  I've been to London to visit the Queen.
Pussycat pussycat what did you do there?
  I frightened a little mouse under the chair.

When preschool children were asked after learning the rhyme just what they think why the pussycat frightened the mouse under the queen's chair, adults would be amazed to their answers.
Kid's answers why the mouse was driven away  were: it will eat the queen's chair, it will bite the queen's gown, at nighttime it may eat the queen's cheese, it will mess everywhere and so many different answers.

Truly the sense of responsibility starts in the formative years and it was inculcated that early in children thru nursery rhymes and songs. Children can conceptualize that we should keep a watchful eye on the queen's welfare or on whoever runs the kingdom or the government.

We adults should not limit ourselves on keeping eyes during election periods only, the bigger picture of political suffrage is after elections...

Let us drive all the mouse away...

Remember when we fall...

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the king's men
couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again.

There always come a point in our life that like Humpty Dumpty we would have a great fall;
We'd break down to pieces, and that's the time you will know who your loved ones and friends are;
    some will just pass you by, some will watch, some will talk about your fall, some will console and stay by
    your side, some will impress to give their sound advice,and some will help you mend and rise up again.

When things get all the worst...thinking that there is no other remedy some people would even take their own life.

Not all of us are Christians but all of us believe in a certain FORCE or POWER or on our own concept of GOD. Whatever is our belief, let us not ignore that two thousand years ago there is a certain MAN who died to save mankind in His way...He gave His life to us whom He love most...ON THE CROSS...

This Holy Week let us remember the Man...whose legacy is eternal...HIS TEACHINGS and the REDEMPTION.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the king's men
couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again.

How about the King himself Humpty Dumpty?
